Robert Stokowy (\*1988) is a sound artist& researcher from Cologne, Germany, whose work is focused on artistic research, the topic of instability, sensory balance, as well as qualitative characteristics and potentiality of sound and place. His site-specific Sound Installations are based on phenomenological practices and consist of small sounds which hold very haptic and organic qualities. With his works the artist wants to explore his sonic surroundings and give recipients access to experience new perspectives on their urban environment. Robert has exhibited his radical site-specific installations at the Walraff-Richartz Museum, MGK Siegen, in Berlin, Lübeck, Korea, Japan and the US. In the coming year - ausstellungs in Miami, Konstanz, Freiburg, London, Helsinki and Seoul will follow.
