Treated etching plates are played on piezo record players developed by the artist. The etching plates were mounted on the ground and left there. Subsequently, they were imprinted by pedestrians and traffic driving over them in Ulm, Berlin and Hamburg, and then finally etched. In doing so, the abstract image of the ground tracks is generating the corresponding sounds. The respective city recordings are then added by means of an acoustic-optical converter.
